A cappella,  Italian for “in the manner of the church”, is defined as singing without instrumental accompaniment. The a cappella group Twisted Measure, from Elon University in North Carolina, did a cover of Sia’s “Chandelier” and – while I still love her version better – slowed down so you can really listen to the lyrics is pretty cool.

And, just in case you’re wondering why they’re barefoot in the video, they’ve had a tradition of barefoot singing since they were founded back in 1999.
