Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price had a historic night last night becoming the first goalie to be a four-time winner at the NHL Awards.

Price took home the Hart Trophy as the NHL’s most valuable player, the Vezina Trophy as the League’s best goalie and the Ted Lindsay Award for the most outstanding player as voted by the players. He also shares the William M. Jennings Trophy with Corey Crawford of the Chicago Blackhawks for being the goalies on the teams that allowed the fewest goals in the regular season (only 189 goals).

He was almost speechless by the end of his four wins.

“You try and prepare something to say, and it never really comes out the way you had in mind,” Price said. “I’m just truly grateful to be here. I’m just immeasurably blessed to do what I do. That’s all I really have to say.”
