The next time you board a plane you may wanna sit at the back!

You may or may not have heard but the middle seats in the rear of a plane historically are the safest with the highest survival rates. The info is based off a 35 year long study of plane crashes!

Time magazine did a bunch of research and found that the seats in the back third of a plane had a 32 per cent fatality rate, compared with 39 per cent in the middle third, and 38 per cent in the front. What seats should you avoid?

It turns out that the MIDDLE seats in the back end of the plane had the best outcomes – a 28 per cent fatality rate. The worst? The aisle seats in the middle third of the cabin had a whopping 44 per cent fatality rate. So, if you’re ok with being at the back of a plane, it’s your safest bet. That said, the chances of being involved in a plane crash are so damn slim – the lifetime odds of being killed in a car are 1 in 112… Odds on a plane? 1 in 8000.
