Rogers Radio and YouTube Canada Shine a Spotlight on Emerging Artists with New Radio Show, YouTube Hits

– The show marks YouTube’s first Canadian radio partnership and will feature the most-talked about viral events and emerging artists who are generating the most buzz each week –

Rogers Radio is teaming up with YouTube, the world’s most popular online video community, to give fans across the country a weekly rundown of the hottest music, trends, and topics in the worlds of entertainment, fashion, gaming, and music. Each week, the show will spotlight appearances from Canadian and international YouTube stars, and feature a blend of established and emerging artists based on YouTube viewership to reveal what Canadians and the world are watching online.

Hosted by Blake Carter and Adam Wylde, the one-hour show, YouTube Hits, will air every weekendacross the country on Rogers Radio beginning Saturday, September 5th at 8am and Sunday, September 6th at 6pm.

This marks YouTube’s first Canadian radio partnership.

Curating the best of the best in music and entertainment, the show will deliver a weekly roundup of YouTube’s most-talked-about viral events and emerging talent, and feature the week’s top songs, biggest chart debut, best cover song, and top entertainment news from around the world, through YouTube’s global network of influencers. The premiere show, airing Saturday, Sept. 5, will include on-air appearances by four Canadian YouTube stars: Daniela Andrade (700,000 subscribers), ConvosWith2YrOld (790,000 subscribers), MakeUpByEman (350,000 subscribers), and Corey Vidal (225,000 subscribers).
