Things You Need To Know: There's a Wine Theme Park

…and it opens June 1st!!

La Cité du Vin — known to us  who speak English as City of Wine — is ready to open in Bordeaux wine country. Which is just a 1 hour flight from Paris!!

The park has 20 themed areas and exhibits that interactively explain the culture and history of wine. There’s a 250-seat auditorium for screenings and classes, a simulator boat ride that shows what it was like to be a maritime merchant sailing across the globe, and expert-led tasting sessions. Oh, and you can also listen to famous stories of drunkenness!!
