Adam Levine has made a heartwarming gesture in the aftermath of The Voice alum Christina Grimmie’s tragic death on Friday. The Maroon 5 frontman has offered to pay for her funeral expenses. Christina‘s brother Marcus, who was at her show and tackled the shooter to the ground before the suspect fatally shot himself, revealed Adam’s generosity in a Facebook post on Sunday. “I found out this morning that Adam Levine personally called my mother and said he will pay for her funeral and her plane flight, and I was blown away,” he wrote.

Christina died after being fatally shot while signing autographs after her concert in Orlando, FL, last week. Adam then took to Twitter to share an emotional tribute to his friend, posting a cute selfie of the two of them and writing, “Behati and I are absolutely devastated and heartbroken by Christina Grimmie’s death. Our hearts go out to her family.”
