There’s A New Phone In Town
In the competitive world of cell phones it’s not often you see a new company try and jump in on the hardware game. Blackberry just announced last month they were no longer going to make their own hardware, instead they would license third party phones. In the mobile world Apple and Samsung phones are king, but Google wants to give them a run for their money with Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL.

It’s Like A Regular Phone, Except For One Thing

The Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL will be on sale in Canada starting October 20th and are available for pre-order in advance of that. In terms of phone features, it has the standard stuff you’d expect. A good camera. A fast processor. A fast charging battery (can charge to full in about 15 minutes). What separates this phone from some of the others out there is that having enough space on your phone won’t be as much of an issue.

Never Run Out Of Room

This phone automatically backs up your photos and videos (even 4K…the super high res videos) into the cloud, which means they won’t take up space on your phone’s memory. Think about it. How many times have you had to quickly delete some photos or videos on your phone to make room for a new app or more photos and videos? As long as you’re connected to Wi-Fi or a cellular network, you’ll be able to access your photos and videos that you take with your phone without having them filling up your precious storage!

Will You Pick Pixel?

The iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy phones are now so streamlined and work so well, it can be a bit of a risk to decide to jump on board with something new. Will all your favourite apps still work? Is it going to be a pain to transfer contacts and files from your old device? Will this phone get the support it needs to stay up-to-date? The Google Pixel phones definitely have some appealing features, so will you consider an upgrade?
