Shaken Not Stirred

For the past four Bond movies Daniel Craig has suited up, packed the PP7, and breathed new life into the James Bond franchise. The only problem was while promoting last year’s most recent film Spectre, Daniel Craig had some harsh words to say to Time Out Magazine about playing the character moving forward:

“Now? I’d rather break this glass and slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.”

This left fans worried for the future of the franchise and speculation of who could take over for future films: Orlando Bloom? Tom Hiddleston? Idris Elba? In an interview this past weekend we may have an early indication of who will play the famous role in the next film: Daniel Craig.

Bond Is Back

Variety is reporting that Daniel Craig may have softened a bit on his position about returning to the franchise. In an interview at the New Yorker Festival this weekend they say the actor said he would be lucky and willing to be Bond again:

“As far as I’m concerned, I’ve got the best job in the world. I’ll keep doing it as long as I still get a kick out of it. If I were to stop doing it, I would miss it terribly,” Craig said.

Better Bond?

Would you want to see Daniel Craig back in the role, or is time for someone new? Fans must like seeing Daniel Craig as Bond because the last two films were the most profitable in the nearly 55 year history of the film franchise.
