The wait is finally over! Drake’s long-awaited album ‘Certified Lover Boy’ drops on Sept. 3.

After teasing the album on ESPN’s SportsCenter, Drake confirmed the news on Instagram Monday morning (Aug. 30).  Drake posted an image of 12, expecting mom emojis on Instagram along with the caption, “CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3.”

Back in July, Drake gave fans an album update, saying at the time, “Album’s ready … Album’s cooked, looking forward to delivering it to you. Certified Lover Boy on the way, and that’s for anyone in the way.”

Drake first began to tease CLB back in August of last year.  August came and went, and still no word on CLB.  Drake then teased a ‘potential’ Jan. 2021 drop and well, that didn’t happen either.  Instead, Drake released the 3-song Scary Hours EP, which featured ‘What’s Next,’ ‘Wants and Needs,’ and the ‘Lemmon Pepper Freestyle.’
