Christmas Tree Recycling

If you have a real Christmas tree, you can recycle it starting December 27th.

Winnipeg’s 11 Let’s Chip In depots will open on Sunday and stay open until January 20, 2016. Make sure remove all plastic tree bags, tinsel, decorations, and tree stands before leaving a tree at a depot. 

You’ll also be able to help yourself to free wood chips, which will be available in early January. Trees placed on the curb or beside a recycling/garbage cart will not be picked up. Winnipeggers recycled 11,000 trees last season.
