Don Rickles, whose entertainment career spanned more than 60 years, has died. He passed away at 90 years-old from kidney failure at his Los Angeles home. A World War II vet, Rickles was known for his sharp-tongue and comedic insults, mocking celebrities like Frank Sinatra and Bob Hope.

On Frank Sinatra: ““When you enter a room, you have to kiss his ring. I don’t mind, but he has it in his back pocket.”

On Bob Hope: “Bob Hope couldn’t be here tonight, he’s looking for a war.”

Jimmy Kimmel had a very emotional tribute to Don Rickles on his Thursday night show.

Perhaps this is the fitting way to remember Rickles. The comedian had the sarcastic nickname “Mr. Warmth” because he made fun of everyone!  So, in 2014 for his 88th birthday, Jon Stewart, Jerry Seinfeld, David Letterman, and more came out to make fun of him on a roast that aired on Spike TV.

Kids today might best know the comedian in animated form. Don Rickles also voiced the beloved character of Mr Potato Head in Disney’s Toy Story films.
