I think most of us dreamed of making it to the taping of Oprah’s Favorite Things episode when her show was on the air. Taking home a whole swag bag filled with the 61-year-old multi-millionaire’s favourite thing would make us all feel like celebrities!

It’s been 20 years since she started the tradition and the list for 2015 is out in The Oprah Magazine’s December issue, featuring the 86 items she most highly recommends as gifts this year.  Like usual, it ranges from the attainable to flamboyantly extravagant.

The Aspinal of London’s customizable key rings run from $50 to $60 and can be monogrammed for an additional $23.

A&B American Style hot sauce is on there and since both Oprah and Stedman love some spice, this is high praise. This three-pack set for $30 includes the Brooklyn company who grow their own peppers on a rooftop)’s Original, Garlic and More Heat flavours.

Then it starts getting a bit pricey.

The $39 Front Gate’s Park Avenue chinchilla faux-fur jacket seems very affordable until you realize it’s for your dog.

For the second year in a row, Oprah features a comfy $98 sweater with the words ‘I Love Sundays’ written across the front.

This is a pretty cool idea for parents, especially – as Oprah says, ‘when a little one’s drawing is more masterpiece than fridge-magnet material’: Minted’s Your Drawing as Foil Art Print, which turns children’s drawings into professional-grade foil prints – with or without frames – for $120 to $447.

This product has a very awesome Oprah history. The $102 Foot Nanny Foot Treatment Gift Set, a pedicure pampering set which comes with a salt scrub, skin cream, and socks. But the CEO of Foot Nanny used to work at Oprah’s production company – until Oprah encouraged her to go into business after trying out her foot treatment!

There is the practical too. $300 Philips Avance pasta maker can make a pound of pasta in 15 minutes! Perfect if you have a ton of relatives and don’t feel like rolling all day.

And the completely impractical. I could eat my way through one of the highest priced items on the list, $500 Phillips Chocolates’ Giant Turtle Basket with 15lbs of chocolate, caramel, and pecan turtles, in a 5lb edible chocolate basket.

Now that’s good times.

The List, as loyal Oprah watchers call it, was revealed Thursday on ABC’s “Good Morning America”. The magazine hits newsstands on November 10th but you can check it out on Texture by Next Issue, available on iPad® & iPhone®, Android™ tablet & smartphone and Windows® 8 devices.

(By the way, it KILLED me to not add the ‘u’ to favourite every time I typed it on this post. Silly Americans.)
