Good news for KatyCats, Miss Perry is back!

The pop superstar shared the track “Rise,” her first new music release since 2013’s Prism, last night via Twitter.

The single, Perry’s first new material since her 2013 album ‘Prism’, will be used as NBC’s Olympics anthem during the network’s coverage of the global sporting event in Rio de Janeiro next month.

Featuring empowering lyrics like: “When, when the fire’s at my feet again/And the vultures all start circling/They’re whispering, ‘you’re out of time’/ But still I rise,” read into it what you will or just enjoy the fact that KATY PERRY IS BACK.

Of course, the internet exploded with amazing memes and tweets about the new single.
